Graffiti knitting group; making Herefordshire brighter, one step at a time

The Victoria Bridge Has Been Twisted!

Ahhh, it is that time of year again and it’s good to be back! A fair splattering of spirals have wound their way to the Vicky Bridge on the Bishop’s Meadow with a few other surprises for any of you early-bird yarnies that manage to see them before they get  yoinked!! Photos will be uploaded on Monday so if you wanna get a peak you better stick your beanie on and get down there.

Knit Nurse set to work on the bollards whilst Chunky Monkey and Purl Punk cracked on with the bridge. We were also very lucky to have Wooly Bully and HI-VIS Knitter drop in for the hit, keeping look out and hanging the heads. Even Knitty Nora popped up over the hedge for a gander!

We are learning with each hit and the lesson for this one was who would think the Vicky Bridge was sooooo long! Watch this space in the coming year, because at some point we want to get that whole bridge!

Thanks to those of you who let us know where our creations end up, we always love to hear about it and know that little wooly something has made someone smile, because let’s face it, it’s all about the smiles 🙂 until next time, enjoy! Purl Punk over and out.
